Our Leadership
Jeff Beach
President
After graduating from Central Michigan University in 1995, Jeff started working at Milco and Welform full time. During his first few years with the companies, he completed his post-graduate work at Walsh College earning a Master’s Degree in Finance.
Jeff has been integral in establishing continuous improvement, 6S and quality programs along with handling sales, purchasing and quality. As a third generation partner, Jeff is currently responsible for long term strategic planning, market development as well as product development. Along with Jeff’s domestic interests, he is overseeing the China operation, Welform Precision.
BK Ooi
Welform Precision (China) General Manager
Graduated from the School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Science Malaysia, and joined Welform China as the General Manager in 2016.
BK has worked in various management positions for over 20 years focusing on global business development within Asia, Europe, and the US.
BK is proficient in multiple languages and knows business cultures around the world. In 2022, BK was rewarded as a “High-level Talent" by HangZhou City.
Paolo Gai
TEWI Managing Director/Partner
Paolo is a Resistance Welding Specialist with over 35 years of experience. He began his career in 1990 at an Italian Resistance Welding company, initially as a salesman before advancing to Managing Director over 15 years.
In 2007, Paolo founded Corotrat, a company renowned for excellence in Resistance Welding machines and components, serving industries beyond just automotive.
In 2019, Corotrat acquired Italy’s only Capacitor Discharge Welding machine manufacturer, along with a trading company in Romania, further expanding its presence in the Resistance Welding market.
In 2023, in partnership with Milco Mfg., acquired Tewi with the vision of distributing robot welding guns across Europe.
John Pippin
Milco (U.S.) General Manager
Throughout his career at Milco, John has played a pivotal role in product development and expanding international business opportunities. He has been a key leader in navigating the evolving landscape of the resistance welding industry over the past decade.
John has been an active member of the American Welding Society (AWS) for over 30 years, contributing to various boards and committees. He also served as the Detroit Section Chairman for the 2019-2020 and 2023-2024 terms. His industry involvement includes participation in initiatives such as Friction Stir Welding Standards and the Auto/Steel Partnership’s Global Standard Components committee for Modular Welding Guns.
Zhan Kun
Welform Precision (China) Deputy General Manager
Graduated from the School of Mechanical Engineering at Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). Has been working for leading global pneumatic component, robot, and robot end tool companies since then.
Zhan experienced in factory production technology work for more than 15 years, mainly focusing on Sales & Marketing in the fields of industrial automation, robotics, and automotive BIW manufacturing in China. Zhan have been deeply rooted in the Chinese automotive industry for many year, with industry resources and great industry reputation. Zhan joined Welform Precision in the first half of 2025.
Massimo Pentore
TEWI General Manager
Throughout his career, he has led and managed all key technical departments within operations, such as Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, Production, Quality, Maintenance, Health & Safety, Environment, Energy, Logistics, Engineering, and R&D. His deep expertise allows him to effectively oversee their cross-functional interactions, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficiency.
With a strong focus on safety, quality, and cost optimization, Massimo is committed to continuous improvement. He excels at identifying waste and inefficiencies, addressing them with both immediate solutions and comprehensive flow reviews based on Lean Production principles. His strategic approach ensures long-term success for the companies he works with.
Massimo holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
